Assist patients/residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Support mobility and help with transferring individuals using appropriate equipment.
Monitor patients' well-being and report any changes to nursing staff.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Follow infection control procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work in nursing homes, hospitals, and residential care facilities across Ireland. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – At least two modules completed
CPR and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred but not required
Training will be provided for candidates without experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Kind, patient, and empathetic attitude towards patients/residents
Ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions
Right to work in Ireland
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights
